Is bigger better when it comes to rings?

One of the biggest thing I know are engagement rings, and the bigger they get, the more expensive they certainly get. Honestly, a ring is not amazing depending on its size, but more so on the way it makes a person feel. Saying yes to a big ring is a lot easier than saying no to one.

If you present a huge ring when proposing, the girl will have that much more trouble saying no to it. It’s true, I mean, come to think of it, the more money that is invested, the more likely a person will agree. The only problem I have with this is that looks can be deceiving. October 2010 – Charm Bracelet Contest Result

It's almost mid November already...the night is setting in so early now, by the time I get off work it's already dark! As much as I like sporting my winter wardrobe, I really do miss the summer's long day and short nights. On the bright side, winter brings a lot of family gather time and fun festivities! I can't wait until Thanksgiving dinner...and Christmas!

Back to the purpose of this post. I would like to announce the winner for our October charm bracelet contest! A very warm thank you for both our finalists and a big congratulation to our winner, Sterling from CO! Her story is very fun to read and from her story, I can tell how much she and her husband love their little girls!

For Sterling, I actually wanted to give her a #1 mom charm, however, I think this tooth charm might hold a more significant meaning; after all, she is the "tooth fairy."

Olivia Wilde on the Red Carpet

The best time to spot the stars at their best is of course at red carpet appearances. In this case, it’s Olivia Wilde at the movie premiere for The Next Three Days. Who knows if the movie is good or not what’s important is the jewelry she had on! Wilde came to the premiere wearing a ton of platinum jewelry. That seems to be a trend amongst stars at the moment.

The actress’s jewelry was mostly designed by Stephen Russell. The piece that stood out the most was a platinum bracelet that had on over 380 diamonds! It came up to be about 30 carats.
