No one wants it if it's ugly!

Something most people look past when they purchase jewelry is the fact that it can be worn down. Excessive use can cause the color to fade and its value to drop. Here are some tips in keeping your jewelry fresh, always looking great for any occasion. You don’t have to spend money on purchasing a cleaning solution when instead you can make your own at home. With household materials, you can have a cleaning solution ready in no time. All you really need is half a cup of ammonia and a cup of warm water. You can soak your jewelry in it for about 15 minutes, and then rub clean with a soft cloth. You can then let them air dry on a clean linen towel. For diamond jewelry, especially things you wear everyday like silver charm bracelets, rub a small amount of white toothpaste using a small toothbrush to make it shine again. Rinse with cold water when done. The same can be done with sterling silver jewelry as well as using baking soda. Let me know if you need further tips. I like keeping my jewelry shining bright. Who wants gold that doesn’t gleam anyways?
